Fruit & Veggie Cup & Saucer

This is a superb cup and saucer made by Fuerstenberg around 1765. Both pieces are superbly handpainted with a nice design of fruits and veggies, some flowers and a neat puce rim design with gilding. One of the nicest sets I have seen by them in quite some time! The cup is 1.875 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.375 inches tall and 5.375 inches in diameter. They are both in great condition with a little wear to the clear glaze from stacking and a chipped area to the footring underneath on the saucer and some wear to the gold trim on the top edge of the cup. The set is marked with the underglaze blue script letter F as well as an incised 4. Please email me for more information or photos.
