Lidded Urn

This is a lidded urn handpainted with Watteau style scenes on both sides made by Fuerstenberg in the 20th century. Vases are still Fuerstenberg specialty and this one shows why. It is rare to find handpainted pieces as most pieces are decal in the 20th century. Must have been a special order item. It is marked with the underglaze blue F mark under the crown as well as L.50 in red overglaze. Super detailed scenes on either side, lots of flowers throughout and a nice gold trim to finish this piece off. The urn is rather large being 12.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter without the handles. The piece is in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or photos.
