Superb Very Early Scenic Cup

This is a superb and very early cup made by Fuerstenberg in the very beginning of their existience in about 1755. It is handpainted with two great quality puce scenes surrounded by a very detailed black scroll trim with a few polychrome flowers mixed in. A nice floral arrangement opposite the handle and a single flower to the bottom inside. Nice handle shape as well! It is marked with an underglaze blue F mark underneath as well as an incised H2 or soemthing along those lines. The piece is 1.75 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. The cup is in great condition with wear to the gilding on the top rim and the bottom of the handle has a stable hairline across it - a typical issue on these early pieces! All in all in great shape for being this old and definitely a special addition! Please email me for more information or photos.
