Floral Sugar Dish and Lid

This is a lidded sugar dish made by Fuerstenberg in the 18th century. The main body is handpainted with a nice large floral arrangement as well as three smaller flowers and the lid has three nice small flowers on it as well. Nice rim edge design to the lid and a great floral finial to the lid. The dish is in superb condition with just one chip to a petal on the flower finial of the lid. The main piece is marked with the underglaze blue script F mark with an impressed 2 (a size reference). The dish and lid are 4.5 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter.
