Ostrich Pair

This is a rare pair of Ostrich made by Fuerstenberg in about 1770. It is very rare to find both the male and female of this set. Both are superbly painted and are just a really nice pair of figurine to display. They are both in superb condition. He has a firing crack between his toes and she has a kink in her left leg due to the firing process. He is 6.5 inches tall and she is about 6 inches tall. The dating of this pair is a bit difficult but there is a male at the Herzog Anton-Ulrich-Museum in Germany that dates to 1756 and has the same mark. Please email me for more information or photos.
