Scenic & Floral Dish

This is a fun dish handpainted with a superb scene in the center and flowers and bugs on the rim made by Fuerstenberg in the 18th century. There are two men in the center of the scene with a farm or such in front of them and lots of trees, etc. all around. Very good quality scene! Nice gold trim around the edge with three flowers and three bugs along the rim. Not sure what the purpose of this dish was. It looks to be a small serving dish. It is marked with the script letter F in underglaze blue in the center underneath with an impressed V and 2 plus a dot near the footring. The piece is in superb condition with a little wear to the gilding but it displays superbly! It is 1.625 inches tall and 8.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $749
