Sauce Dish

This is a rare sauce dish made by Fuerstenberg in the 18th century. It is nicely handpainted with a larger floral arrangment at each end, four smaller flowers in between and a gold trim to the top edge and handles. The sauciere is in good condition with one handle having a hairline crack through it and the footring has been restored expertly. A bit of wear to the gold trim and use marks on the inside bottom. A nice and very uncommon example. The piece is 3.25 inches tall, 8.875 inches long and and 5 inches wide. Marked underneath with the underglaze blue script F mark as shown.
