WWII Occupying Forces Plate

This is a plate made most likely by Fuerstenberg around 1945 and used by the representatives of the US, UK, Soviet Union, and France at meetings of the Allied Control Council ( Vier Mächte ) which issued directives, laws, and proclamations to the four occupied zones of postwar Germany. They met in 1945/46 I believe. Neat plate with a lot of history attached! It is decorated with hand painted flags of the four nations ( Allied Powers ) as well as a red line around the rim. The plate displays well but has a double hairline by the Soviet flag with a tiny spot of glaze missing by one of them. Not visible when displayed but it is there! The plate is 0.625 inches tall and has a diameter of 7.625 inches. It is marked simply with a black x underneath by the footring. Fuerstenberg did use red numbers at times and I have seen one set that was also marked with their blue F mark though these are very rare!! I do have a cup and saucer marked this way! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $99
