White Couple Figurine

This is a blanc de chine couple figurine mady by Fuerstenberg in the early 20th century. They are dressed in a fancy 18th century clothing with her holding a letter in her left hand and him a flute in his hands. Left in the white to show it off perfectly! The piece is in good condition with a tiny fleabite to his hat rim, another tiny fleabite to his cuff, two small finger tips missing, two small nicks to her letter, one small nick to her cuff and hairline through her hand on his back from the making. All these flaws are quite minor and the piece displays perfectly! The figurine is 6.5 inches tall, 4.75 inches wide and 3.125 inches deep. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue script F mark with A.a.M and the number 202 impressed. A.a.M. means aus altem Modell - meaning copied from an old original. This figure was originally made in the 18th century and then remade around 1900. Please email me for more information or photos.
