Chocolate Set for 8

This is a rare hot chocolate set for eight made by Furstenberg in the 18th century. All pieces are handpainted with some superb flowers in polychrome - larger floral arrangements as well as small single flwoers with the lids having fun floral finials. The set is comprised of a large chocolate pot with the wodden handle to the side, a smaller similar pot, a sugar dish, a waste bowl and eight cups and saucers. The pieces are in superb condition with some minor chips - one to the larger pot lid edge, one tiny one to the bottom edge, a firing crack to the spout that is glazed over and the finial leaf has one point chipped, a flat small chip to the underside of the smaller pot and one cup has a tiny chip to the top rim and the bottom edge. One leaf of the sugar dish has some paint flaking issues. The set dislays perfectly!! The square handles of the cups which I happen to love are typical for the classicism period of the late 18th century. All pieces are marked with the underglaze blue F mark underneath as well as some other incised/impressed numbers and letters. The smaller pot is 5 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter, the larger pot is 7 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter, the sugar dish is 4.5 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter, the waste bowl is 3.125 inches tall and 6.75 inches in diameter, the cups are about 2.375 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter and the saucers 1.25 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter.
