Grecque Athena Set for 6

This is a coffee service made by Fuerstenberg in the early 20th century. This is probably their most popular modern seller these days and this set is much older than what you normaly see. It is a set for six people with the Coffee pot, creamer, sugar dish, 6 cups and saucers and six dessert plates. All pieces are nicely modeled and handpainted with a gold design that is as elegant as it comes! The coffee pot has a face under the spout which is neat. All pieces are marked with the underglaze blue F. mark underneath used around 1910. Some pieces also have Germany and Fuerstenberg udnerneath and all have red numbers and letters. The set is in great condition with one cup having a chip and nasty hairline, one cup has a chip and a hairline that is harder to spot, one cup has a teeny chip that would be easily hidden by a little gilding and one saucer has a long nasty hairline. So all in all in great condition!! The coffee pot is 10 inches tall including the lid finial and 4.75 inches in diameter, the sugar dish is 4.75 inches tall and 3.5 inches in diameter, the creamer is 5.5 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter, the cups are 2.375 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter, the saucers are 0.875 inches tall and 5.625 inches in diameter and the plates are 0.75 inches tall and 7.625 inches in diameter.
