Floral Vase missing Lid

This is a very nice vase made by Furstenberg in the 18th century. It is hand painted with a superb large floral arrangement on the front and back with a small single flower on each side below the handles. Nicely shaped handles highlighted with gilding as well as some gold trim to the top and bottom. The piece is lacking the lid which would have been dome shaped. I have a yellow ground larger version of this piece if you want to see the shape of it.The piece is in great condition with a few minor use marks but no chips, restorations, etc. It is 7.75 inches tall, about 8.5 inches wide and about 6 inches in diameter. I think this is the smallest version for this shape. Vases were the most important product of Fuerstenberg during this period and this piece shows us why - quite stunning! It is marked with the under glaze blue F mark on the inside top rim of the main body and impressed No.1 underneath as shown. The underside handles each have an air hole for the firing process as shown. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $399
