Small Floral Tea Pot

This is a small teapot made by Fuerstenberg in the 18th century. It is handpainted with a nice floral arrangement on either side as well as four smaller flowers in between and two more on the lid. Fuerstenberg flowers are always very detailed and the color and quality is just superb. The handle is typical of the period and quite decorative. Nice floral finial to the lid. The pot is marked with the underglaze blue F mark underneath as well as an impressed number 3. The little guy is 3.625 inches tall, 7 inches from handle to spout end and 3.75 inches in diameter. The pot is in superb display condition but the handle was once off and was reattached and covered up and a small chip on the spout was restored.
