Erotic Figurine

This is a very fun and rare figurine made by Fürstenberg in the 18th century (about 1770). It is a copy of a Meissen figurine from 1740 that is called the " Indiscreet Harlequin " but I cannot find another example by Fuerstenberg and this was definitely made by them! It is of Columbine seated on Beltrame's lap in an passionate embrace with the pervy Harlequin at their feet peeping up Columbine's skirt. The Meissen version is sometimes painted with the typical cards on the Harlquin's outfit but often similar to this piece here with flowers and solid colors, etc. The figurine is superbly handpainted and modeled and about as X-rated as one could get on porcelain of the 18th century. Typical 18th century colors and decoration. Just very elegant and not overbearing like some of the new pieces. The figurine is in great condition with a factory fixed firing crack to the back of the base, Columbine is missing some fingers on her right hand and Harlequin is missing the tip of his left foot, a meaningless chip to the ruffle of her left elbow sleeve and another firing crack in her dress. All in all in amazing condition for the age! The figurine is marked with incised numbers and letters as shown no question it was made by Fuerstenberg during this period! The figurine is about 6.25 inches tall, 5.5 iches wide and 4.5 inches deep. The Meissen original sells for around 40K so this is a bargain :) Please email me for more information or photos.
