Early Miner Figurine

This is a figurine of the famous miner set first designed by Simon Feilner in the 18th century. This figure here is a more modern version though it is the oldest I have seen except for the original pieces. It is of a Mining Officer from the Bergoffizier series and he appears to be handing out coins possibly as payment. Not a model I have seen before and it is quite nice. Very well modeled and hand painted perfectly. He is wearing the typical uniform with the green hat and standing on a nice base. The piece is in superb condition with a tiny bit of wear. The figurine is 7.75 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 3 inches deep. He is marked with the script F with a dot behind it in under glaze blue as well as a painter's number 61. in red as shown. Please email me for more information or photos.
