Dr. Baloardo

This is a figurine of Dottore (aka Dr. Baloardo) who is one of the commedia dell arte figurines made by Fuerstenberg around 1790. He is marked with a the crossed swords with a star mark meant to copy the Meissen Marcolini mark underneath as well as the incised number 270 and a script H. He displays perfectly after some small damages to the hat and base were absolutely perfectly restored. All main parts were already OK especially the head, arms and main body so nothing bad at all. The figure is 4.75 inches tall, about 2.5 inches wide and 3 inches deep. Please email me for more information or photos.
