Chess Set

This is a great partial chess set made by Fuerstenberg in the 20th century. Sadly some pieces are missing and some are damaged and repaired so I decided to sell each piece separately so here is your chance to complete the set you have or replace a damaged pieces with a perfect one. The set was made in the Rococo style originally in 1947 for the 200 year anniversary and then again in 1982. A very nice set with figures made in the likeness of the royalty of the house of Brunswick as well as some other important figures from the 18th century. Both sides are done in Parian porcelain (meaning an unglazed form of porcelain) - one side being white and the other green or celadon in color. On the Celdon side we have the bishop which is oddly enough painted in the celadon color but the porcelain is white underneath. He has an earlier script F mark with the dot behind it so I think he is from the 1947 version. The figure is in perfect condition and about 3.125 inches tall. The second celadon bishop is done in the green clay rather than being painted. He is in perfect condition with a tiny shiny green spot on top of his head almost like a piece of pigment got stuck there from the green color. The piece is about 3.125 inches tall and is marked with a printed F mark as shown. The third piece is the celadon king. He is in perfect condition and about 3.75 inches tall. The piece is marked with the printed blue F under a crown with a dot next to it mark as shown. Next is the celadon knight I only have one of these but it is in perfect condition and about 2.875 inches tall. Marked underneath with the printed blue F under a crown mark with the dot besides it. Next is the celadon colored pawn piece. I have eight if anyone needs more than one and they are all in perfect condition. It is about 2.375 inches tall and marked with the printed F mark in blue as shown. Next we have the celadon colored Queen piece. She is about 3.5 inches tall and in perfect condition. Marked with the printed F mark as shown. And lastly on the Celadon colored side we have the rook which I only have one of. It is in perfect condition and about 2.75 inches tall. The piece is marked with the printed blue F mark under a crown with a dot next to it as shown. On the white side we have the bishop which has had hsi head broken off cleanly and reglued. He has a printed blue script F mark as shown and is about 3.125 inches tall. The second white bishop is in perfect condition. The piece is about 3.125 inches tall and is marked with a printed blue script F mark as shown. The third piece is the white king. He is in perfect condition and about 3.75 inches tall. The piece is marked with the printed blue script F mark as shown. Next is the white knight - I ahve two of these if anyone needs more than just one. It is in perfect condition and about 2.875 inches tall. Marked underneath with the printed blue F under a crown mark with the dot besides it. Next is the white pawn piece. I have seven of them if anyone needs more than one and they are all in perfect condition. It is about 2.375 inches tall and marked with the printed F mark under a crown in blue as shown. Next we have the white colored Queen piece. She is about 3.5 inches tall. SHe has had her head cleanly broken off and reglued sadly. Marked with the printed blue script F mark as shown. And lastly on the White colored side we have the rook which I only have two of if anyone needs more than just one. It is in perfect condition and about 2.75 inches tall.
