Alchemist Putto Figurine

This is a putto made by Fuerstenberg in the 18th century. I am thinking he is a pharmacist / alchemist / chemist which is why he was a must have for me :) Have not seen this model before. It is of a putto using a mortar and pestle oddly enough he looks like he's ready for bed or if he is anything like me he had a brillant idea while falling asleep and just had to get up and try it :) Though his taste in slippers is not like mine! Nicely modeled and painted and an early flat base. This is a really cute piece! It is in perfect condition with just a teeny sliver off mostly the underside base and a firing line where the seem is along his right side from the making. The piece is 3.75 inches tall, 1.75 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep. It is marked with an incised XI and the X was made into crossed swords. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
