Modern Bird Scene Plate #2

This is an unusual plate made by Fuerstenberg in the 20th century. I have a second one with a different bird if anyone is itnerested in a pair. Very unusual to find pieces that are hand painted byt them from this period as the vast majority of their designs are transfer printed. So it was likely a special order of some sort. The plate is very nicely hand painted with a bird scene in the center including the bird sitting on a branch with leaves and berries on it. The rim has five bugs painted on it and there is a gold trim to the edge. A very elegant piece that looks superb on display. The plate is marked with the underglaze blue F mark under the crown as well as a red number along the foot ring. The piece is about 0.875 inches tall and 8.125 inches in diameter and is in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or photos.
