Bird Scene Bowl

This is a large bowl handpainted with very nice bird scene in the center made by Fuerstenberg around 1770. There is one bird lying on the ground and another sitting on a rock with some greenery around them. The bowl also ahs three smaller scenes of a bird on a branch on the isndie rim and a gold trim to the nciely shaped edge. Very good quality scenes! This is the middle version of this bowl which is denoted by the size number 2 underneath. Also marked with the script letter F in underglaze blue in the center underneath, an incised cross under that and the number 2 near the footring. There is also an icnised S2 underneath by the footring! The bowl is in superb condition with a little wear to the gold rim and a tight and stable hairline in the center contained there and will enver go anywhere! It is more visible from the underside and does not take away from the piece at all! The bowl is 3 inches tall and 9.75 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.
