Reticulated Basket

This is a reticulated basket made by Fuerstenberg in about 1780. It is handpainted with a nice colorful design with a musical medallion in the center on the inside bottom of the basket and flowers on the ouside of the basket as well as a pink and gold trim. The piece is in great condition with a small firing crack in one handle, a bit of wear to the gold and some teeny glaze chips on the sides of the reticulated areas from use which don't show unless you search for them. The basket is 2.375 inches tall plus the handles which add another inch and 7 inches in diameter. Marked on the underside with the blue script F mark, and incised cross, an incised S and 2 as well as a blue number 2. Please email me for more information or photos.
