Cow Figurine

This is a really nice figurine of a cow made by Fuerstenberg in the later 18th century before Meissen forbid the use of their crossed swords mark. I have not seen this model before nor can I find another so it is definitely not something you'll come across again anytime soon. The cow is superbly modeled standing on a typical base for this maker and period being supported by some greenery in the center. Really nicely hand painted with brown spots and grey hair at the top. I love the way the horn curve. The figure displays nicely but the back / ;eft ear is missing and the horns have had some work done on them as well. The other ear has some grey thin overpaint to it but I don't feel and see any issues with it. Likely just done to match the other ear when that was restored before going missing again. Small hairline through the very bottom tip of the tail. The figurine is marked with an incised script F mark (never seen them use this version of the mark!) underneath as well as a number and a very faint blue crossed swords mark with a star below as shown. The piece is about 4.625 inches tall, 6.625 iches long and 3.375 inches wide. Please email me for more information or photos.
