Unknown French Floral Plate

This is a deep dish / serving bowl made in France by an unknown maker in the 18th century. It is hand painted with three panels of floral arrangements surrounded by a gold leaf garland with lots of small single flowers covering most of the rest of the space. A larger corn flower in the center. Gold trim around the center as well as to the edge and gold leaves in between the small polychrome flowers. A nice looking piece that has seen a good amount of use. Some wear to the gilding and use marks throughout as shown. No chips, etc. Still a ncie example of this period. The dish is marked underneath in under glaze blue but it stuck to the kiln in that spot so the mark is mostly obscured. I will have to dig through my books and see if I can figure it out when I have more time. It is 1.125 inches tall and 8.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $199
