Laterna Magica Figurine

This is a fun figurine made in the Paris region - most likely by Rue de la Pierre-Levee around the late 19th century. The figure is of a lady standing behind a laterna magica with a slide for the magic lantern in front and a wooden windmill toy on a string she is holding next to it. The lady is nicely dressed and has a small drum hanging of her hip and a violin under her arm. Looks like she is ready to entertain! Magic lantern pieces are hard to find and quite sought after. The piece has La Fillette au Moulin D'Apres Chardin written in gilding on the front edge of the base and a crossed arrow mark in blue with the letter S on the back of the base as shown. The figurine is in superb condition. Could use a bit more of a cleaning than I gave it. The piece is 5.75 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 5.25 inches long.
