Guilloche / Limoges Enamel Scenic Plaque in Brass Box

This is a nice brass box made in France in the late 19th century. The brass part is hexagonal in shape and has some superb raised detail to the sides - two different designs that alternate. Hard to describe the detail so have a look at the photos. The lid has another raised intricate design around my favorite part. A guilloche / French / Limoges enamel plaque with a scene that is the best I have ever seen. It is of a pair of ladies (likely goddesses) dressed in flowy robes with the one in the front having a horn of plenty / cornucopia on her lap with lots of fruit spilling out of it. A bit of wheat behind her aqnd in her hand. The background of th plaque has a nice blue ground color to it where the guilloche background can be seen. A bit of gold detail to it with a cloud above and behind them. The detail and quality is stunning! The colors are thick and you can feel the details. The inside of the box has green felt to it. I did not want to disturb it to look if there is a mark on the back but the front of the scene is signed with a monogram that looks like an FR. I have come across this mark on other pieces of good quality but have no idea who made it. . Maybe someone out there can help?! The box is in great condition with very minor oxaidation spots. The plaque is perfect. The box is a bit over 1.5 inch tall with a diameter of 4.25 inches. The plaque is about 2.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.
