Blue Cornflowers Teabowl Shaped Cup #3

This is a nice teabowl shaped cup made in France in the late 18th or early 19th century. A nice looking piece that is hand painted with a version of the blue corn flower decoration that so many makers used during this period. A cornflower floral garland with their leaves along the top of the outside with some single corn flowers and gold sprigs below it. Gold trim to the top edge and around the foot ring. The cup is in good condition with the gold trim being really worn around the top edge. It's mostly gone. Gold sprigs are quite worn as well. Still looks great and would be perfect for daily use! Blue cornflowers were a favorite of Marie Antoinette and thus became very popular during this time period. The piece is not marked underneath but is definitely French from this period!
