Bird Scene Flower Pot

This is a really nice antique jadieniere / cache pot / flower pot / wine cooler made in the Paris region of France in the 19th century. It has a nice size and sahpe to it with a fancy handle to each side with gilding to them, gold rim to the top and bottom and two superb bird scenes - on to the front and one to the back. Each scene has a large bird sitting on a branch in a landscape surrounding. Nicely hand painted in the typical Paris fashion. They look great! The piece is in great condition with wear to the gilding and some use marks to the inside which is to be expected. No chips, restoration, etc. Ready to be used once again or just displayed. The pot is unmarked underneath but that is normal for this region and time period. The piece is about 6.5 inches tall and 7.5 inches in diameter plus the handles which stick out about 0.75 inches on either side. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
