Este Figurine

This is a figurine made by Este in about 1780. It is of a family sitting on some scroll work that is just amazing. A little one, his mother and the dad on the other side. The figurine is in great condition considering the age and how all the arms and feet stick out. The father has lost one arm but since he faces the back it is not obvious at all. The mom has lost whatever she was holding in her right hand and a tiny chip to one toe. The father has one finger missing on the other hand and two chipped fingers. He might have been holding something on the missing hand that connected to the base behind his knees but one can only guess. Some black firing marks here and there. The figure is unmarked which is not unusual at all during this time period and is 7.25 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 6.5 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1499
