Creamware Cup & Saucer w/Polychrome Flowers #1

This is a cute teabowl and saucer set made of creamware in England in the 18th century. I normally stick more to porcelain but this was a very pleasant set to look at with more colorful flowers than one normally sees that I could not fight the urge to buy them :) The cup & saucer are nicely hand painted with a larger floral arrangements as well as smaller flowers and a red line trim around the edge. Single blossom to the inside bottom of the cup is a nice addition and shows the age and quality of the pieces. The set is of very nice quality and in decent condition. The saucer has very minimal wear and some off colored spots in the glaze which look to be original to the making. The very edge has some minor flaking to the glaze in two spots. Very minor chip to the inside foot underneath. The cup has some minor crazing to the glaze in one area, a chip to the rim with a hairline going into the bowl from there. It's very tight and stable. Still display very well. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall with a diameter of 5.375 inches. The tea bowl is 1.875 inches tall with a diameter of 3.5 inches.
