Pearlware Cup & Saucer #2

This is a Pearlware cup and saucer most likely made in the Staffordshire region of England and certainly in the late 18th century. It is of nice quality with a nice shape and good handpainted decoration including flowers and a nice trim to the rim. The edge of both pieces is wavy and not the boring old rim which is a nice addition. The set is in great condition with some minor wear from age and both pieces have an unimportant chip to the inside footring. The saucer is marked underneath with a pattern number 315 which is highly uncommon on pearlware from this period and I have actually never seen a marked example like this. There is also an old paper label underneath stating Martha P. Scott 1780 - I am unsure if this is a previous owner or what. The cup is 2 inches tall and has a diameter of 3.25 inches and the saucer is 1.5 inches tall and has a diameter of 5.375 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $199
