Superb Little Floral Vase

This is a really nice little vase made in England around 1830. I personally think it might ahve been done by Edwin Steel at Rockingham but it could be by any number of artists in this style by different makers. Really hard to tell. Eithe way it is a superb little piece. It has a nice shape with a handle to either side, a round foot attached to a square base ith some nice gold trim to it but by far the best part is the painting to the main body. It has a brown ground that is darker towards the bottom and fading towards the top with some amazing flowers hand painted on it. One side has a fallen over basket fileld with flwoers on top of a table while the other has a superb floral arrangement. Each side has a really nice single flower with a butterfly over it. Underneath teh scene is a fancy gold trim. Really a stunning vase and it doesn't come much nicer than this. Only thing working against it maybe is the size but it is easy to display than a giant piece. The vase is in superb condition with a two uneven spots to the top edge from when it was made - both a glazed over and where the round foot attaches to the base some of the gilding right where they eet has come undone a bit. It doesn't take away from the piece at all! Very minor touch of wear to the corners of the base. The vase is about 6.25 inches tall including the handles, 3.875 inches wide including the handles and 3.5 inches deep. Not marked but that is pretty normal!
