Fun English Floral Saucer

This is a rather interesting English saucer made in the mid 19th century. I am a bit lost as to the maker but am thinking Copeland maybe. It is marked but that seems to be an artist signature rather than a makers mark. The quality is superb especially for this time period in England. The saucer is hand painted with three roses including the flower, buds and leaves surrounded by a nice gold trim. The edge has a moss looking flowers all around with tiny raised puce flowers with the center having an orchid looking plant with the flwoers growing outwards. These are also raised - kind of like a pate sure pate design. Really of top notch quality. Some nice gilding along the outer edges of the flower scenes part of which is raised as well. Wish I had the cup but alas I do not :( The piece is signed AFH or something along those lines in gold on the underside - I thought maybe with this type of painting it would be CFH for Huerten but I have no idea who this AFH is. Maybe someone out there knows and could let me know :) The painting is just incredible! The saucer is 0.75 inches tall and 5.375 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
