Liverpool Chinoiserie Coffee Pot Lamp

This is a fun lamp made up of a coffee pot decorated with Chinoiserie scenes most likely made made by one of the Liverpool maker like Seth or John & Jane Pennington or Phillip Christian in about 1780. Not quite sure which one as I could not find this decoration exactly. The pot is hand painted with a superb Chinoiserie scene on either side, a floral decoration to the front of the spout and a bit of reddish trim to the handle and top rim. The lid is a replacement made of some sort of metal but quite old itself already and all this has been converted into a lamp with a wooden base, pretty new shade and electrical parts that look fairly new as well. Likely in perfect shape to jsut plug in but you might want to have it checked out by a professional first. The coffee pot is in great condition but the spout tip has been ground with a small chip to the front. It is a superb example and looks stunning as a lamp. No idea if it is marked as I did not take it apart but I doubt it as most were not. The coffee pot is about 7 inches tall. The entire piece including the base and shade is about 16.5 inches tall. A truly fun piece and perfect for the porcelain lover in you :) Please email me for more information or other pictures.
