English Knife #2

This is a superb 18th century English porcelain handled knife made most likely by Bow around 1760. A bit hard to figure out but I am pretty certain and it is definitely an 18th century English piece! The handle is made of porcelain that has a nice handpainted underglaze blue design to it reminiscent of St. Cloud pieces. The ferrule that connects the blade part and the handle or at least covers that part is made of Sterling silver and the blade part seems to be made of iron. A great example and not something you find often by any means! The piece is in great condition with some expected wear and oxidation but about as good an example as you could hope for! The blade's angle to the handle is off a bit which isn't a big deal at all. The piece is about 10.5 inches long and the thickest porcelain part is 1 inch wide. The porcelain handle part is about 3.375 inches long (the part that shows). Not marked but the design and paste fit Bow perfectly. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
