Enamel Food Server

This is something a bit different and unlike anything I have seen before. It is a food server made of enamel on metal handpainted with three floral arrangements as well as some nice gilding on a white and yellow background. The edges are brass or bronce that was gold washed. I would say it was made in England in the late 18th or early 19th century. Likely in the Staffordshire region. The quality of this piece is superb and the flowers are very detailed. The finial is made of plastic and seems to be Bakelite. I am sure it is a replacement but I am not sure what the old one looked like or if it even had one as it looks to just have had a hole where the finial is now. The metal underneath the finial is likely not original either and meant to cover a bigger hole. The lid and plate are in superb condition with almost no wear to the gilding. There is one minor crack on the lid inside and the gold wash is still quite visible on the plate and lid inside while it is gone on the outside metal edge of the lid. There is a bit of damage around the top hole where the finial now sits which hides most of it. The combined piece about 6 inches tall and 7.875 inches in diameter. The plate alone is 1.625 inches tall. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
