Sherbet Cup & Saucer

This is a fun sherbet (or sorbet ) cup and saucer made in the Dresden area of Germany. The amrk is most likely that of Heufel & Co. who operated a decorating studio in the early 20th century. The set has a superb purple luster ground color with lots of gilding some of which is raised and a raised white dot design but the best part is the painted cherubs all around the side of the cup. They are of very nice quality and that makes this one really nice set! Doesn't hurt that both pieces are in perfect condition! The cup is just over 3 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter at the top. The saucer is 0.625 inches tall and has a diameter of 5.25 inches. Both are marked underneath with the script H in a triangle with the word Dresden underneath as well as some numbers likely for the decoration. Also a gold flower under the cup to cover up the maker's mark of the blank pieces. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
