Scenic Umbrella Handle

This is a great porcelain umbrella or cane handle made by one of the Dresden area makers around 1900. It is signed with a gold K.P. which I am unfamiliar with but the style is certainly from this area. Nicely handpainted with a all around scene in the center with a couple in a landscape surrounding with the area over and uder the scene having a deep cobalt blue ground color with some nice gilding and white 'pearl' (raised white enamel dots) highlightes. Same on the very top part. The handle is in superb condition with a tiny amount of wear and one white 'pearl' missing from the top part. A really great quality piece! The handle is 6.125 inches long with the top being oval - 0.75 inches by 1.125 inches. The bottom inside hole is about 0.375 inches in diameter.
