Large Iridescent Glaze Lidded Jar

This is a really fun large lidded vase / jar made by an unknown maker and likely decorated by one of the Dresden , Germany area decorating studios in the early 20th century. The piece is oddly unmarked which I cannot say I ahve seen before but the style in unmistakable. The jar is decorated with one of those amazing iridescent / luster ground color in a purplish tone with lots of superb gilding hand painted over that with some raised details as shown. The best part however is that really nice scene to the front of a semi nude lady that is hand painted very nicely. Not quite KPM quality but still really nice. The main body and lid are both in really nice condition with just a touch of wear / use marks but it displays superbly! Looks amazing especially due to its size. The piece with its lid in place is about 13.75 inches tall and about 7 inches in diameter at the widest point. Unmarked which I had already mentioned. These types of glazes originated in Germany in the late 19th and early 20th century. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
