Doccia / Ginori Blanc de Chine Vase

This is a tall and skinny vase or even a goblet for drinking made by Doccia / Richard Ginori in mid 19th century. The piece has a nice shape to it with the skinny main part sitting on a base - all one piece. This piece here is white with the nice relief design all around but I also ahve this same piece in the hand painted version. I personally like the white as the detail of the porcelain is much more visible. Lots of nice detail make this a fun piece! White porcelain was more valued back then as it would have to be more pferct since one could not hide the flaws with color. This piece here is a great example of that with just a few small firing flaws. Not chips or other real damage so it's in excellent condition. Hard to find the real Doccia / Ginori pieces! The piece is marked underneath with a faint N under a crown mark as shown. It is 7.625 inches tall and 3.625 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
