Doccia Tulipano Sauce Boat

This is a very rare small sauce boat / gravy dish made by Doccia / Ginori in the 18th century. It is hand painted with a superb floral design called the tulipano pattern though I have also seen it being called the Ischia pattern. The bottom inside has the full apttern with the inside rim having some floral arrangements and a bit of puce trim to the handles. A bit of a ribbed design to the paste along the outside. A nice early piece and I have not come across a sauce dish in this pattern before. The sauciere is in good condition with a chip neatly reglued in a museum style repair. Could easily be perfectly hidden by a decent restorer if that is what you want but it displays perfectly as is! Not really obvious at all when on display. It is not marked underneath except for a puce 6. but that is normal. The dish is 1.875 inch tall, 5.625 inches wide and 4.5 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
