Tulipano Cache Pot #2

This is an early flower pot / jadiniere / cache pot / wine cooler made by Doccia in the 18th century around the 1760s. The piece is hand painted with a really nice floral design called Tulipano that is quite typical for Doccia! There is a large floral design to the front and back with a nicely modeled handle to either side painted in a manganese purple. Purple line around the top as well as bottom and a green trim to the top edge. The flowers are super colorful and look stunning. This is probably a very early example since it does not have the tin glaze yet and the colors are a little nicer than other examples I ahve come across. It looks amazing when on display! The piece is in superb condition with just a few minor use marks but no chips, cracks, restorations, etc. There is some brown exposed inside the handles where the glaze did not go but it was made that way. The pot is not marked which is normal. The piece is just under 5.5 inches tall and 6.25 inches in diameter with the handles sticking out another inch. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
