Doccia Tin Glaze Floral Plate #3

This is a nice plate made by Doccia / Ginori in about 1770. It is hand painted with three nice sized floral arrangements as well as some smaller single flowers. Nicely done in their typical style of the period and the plate has a relief design along the edge which makes it quite elegant. The plate is made with a tin glaze to cover the not so white porcelain paste of the time. This was used around 1770. The plate is in perfect condition with almost no evidence of use which is rare. It is marked only with a green number 10 as shown but that is normal during this period. The piece is 1 inch tall and 9.125 inches in diameter.
