Doccia Tin GlazedCup

This is a cup made by Doccia in the 18th century. It is handpainted with three floral arrangements that are very well done as well as a puce trim on the handle. The cup is tinglazed because for a while Doccia porcelain wasn't very white and thus they added the tin to their glaze to make it appear whiter. The cup is in perfect condition. The cup is not marked but the flowers, paste and handle shape are typical and unquestionably Doccia. The cup is 2.75 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter.
