Star Mark Saucer

This is a superb saucer made by Doccia / Ginori in the late 18th century. It is decorated with a design of floral garlands held by angels in relief that is handpainted very nicely. Four scattered small flowers in the center and a nice gold trim to the rim. The saucer is in perfect condition. It is marked with the rare impressed star mark underneath. This is the original maker of this style that was so often copied later in Dresden, etc. The piece is 0.875 inches tall and 5.375 inches in diameter.
