Ginori Small Scenic Vase

This is a fun vase made by Doccia / Ginori in the 19th century. The piece is decorated with biblical or mythological scenes in relief all around that are handpainted very nicely. Nice gold trim with another raised design to the neck also highlighted with gilding. This piece has a superb shape and is just plain fun to look at! The vase is in perfect condition with very minor wear to the gilding and some tiny black firing spots to the inside top opening. It is marked with the crown over N mark in underglaze blue underneath. This is the original maker of this style that was so often copied later in Dresden and France, etc. and is somehow called Capodimonte even though they had little to do with this style. The vase is 5 inches tall and has a diameter of 3 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
