Relief Scene Coffee Pot w/ Corral Handle

This is a superb small coffee pot with its lid made by Doccia in the mid 19th century. The piece is superbly modeled with an animal spout and a red coral handle and decorated with my favorite design by them - relief scenes that are hand painted with lots of nice detail. Nice gold trim to the spout, top and bottom rim and the lid edge. The lid has a nice fruit finial on it. The piece is in superb condition with one of the pins holding the lid in place missing as shown. does not show when on display and it looks perfect! As good as it gets! The pot is marked underneath with the crown over N mark in underglaze blue as shown. It is 6.75 inches tall, 6.5 inches wide and 5.75 inches from spout to handle and 3.5 inches in diameter.
