Doccia Relief Scene Fruit Finial Sugar Dish

This is a really nice relief scene sugar dish with its lid made by Doccia / Ginori in the mid 19th century. The pot is superbly modeled with a mythological / biblical type relief decoration all around that is hand painted with lots of nice detail. The lid is decorated the same way and it has a nice fruit finial with a leaf under it. Nice gold trim to the edges. The set is in great condition with a firing flaw in the lid and three small edge chips to the main body that were gilded over to hide them perfectly as shown. The piece is marked underneath with the crown over N mark in under glaze blue as shown. The dish and lid are about 4 inches tall, 4.75 inches wide and 3.75 inches deep.
