Doccia Saxony Style Scene Saucer

This is a superb saucer made by Doccia / Ginori in the 18th century. It is painted in the Saxon style following Meissen and Hoeroldt's superb Chinoiserie scenes. They called this style " alla Sassone ". It is very reminiscent of his work! The saucer is superbly painted with a nice hand painted scenes of a lady sitting with a bird in front of her and some greenery behind her. The scene is surrounded by nice trim that even has an attempt to copy the Boettger luster in it with the iron red and gold scrolls. The saucer is in great condition with a touch of wear as shown. Displays superbly and looks stunning! It's a really nice example of their work! The piece is unmarked which is normal. The saucer is just over 0.75 inches tall with a diameter of 4.875 inches.
