Doccia Roses & Blue Trim Coffee Can

This is a cute little mug or coffee can made by Doccia in the 18th century. A nice example with their typical handle. The piece is hand painted with roses and some leaves all around as well as a nice blue and gold trim to the top and the indented ring to the bottom. Touch of gilding to the handle as well. The cup displays perfectly but when you shine a light through the bottom you can see a fine line which is a very common problem with this shape of theirs. The bottom is unglazed and it is really hard to spot without the light. Otherwise it is perfect. The cup is unmarked but that is normal for their wares. It is just over 2.5 inches tall and 2.375 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
