Doccia Sienna Rust Cup

This is a superb cup in a very famous patternthat is still very popular pattern today. It is known under a few names - Galli Rossi / Sienna Rust and I think there is another one but I can't remember it right now. This superb cup was made by Doccia / Ginori in the 18th century. It is hand painted with the rust colored design with gold highlights of the two fighting roosters with a tree and some other plants all around. Nice handle shape! It's rare to find the pieces from the 18th century as most one sees are modern. The piece is in superb condition with some very minor wear. It is unmarked which is the norm but definitely made by them during this period. The piece is 2.75 inches tall and 2.375 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
